Poor feet.

Rehearsal for me today consisted of running all three of my soloist roles. Oh the joy. Actually it was pretty fun, and I was proud for (more or less) surviving the rehearsal. Epsom salt bath and a massage from mommy for my feet tonight.

So the old fruit bat gets back tomorrow. I’m gonna talk to her about the whole Snow Queen scenario.

Just let me try, I swear I will not disappoint..

Nutcracker rehearsal today was a pain in the ass. So freaking stupid. Everyone was so cranky, probably because we spent another three hours doing Snow and Flowers. I was wearing my new pointe shoes (evil things) and they were way too tight. So I just said bye bye to my ouch pouches, which was actually a good decision. Way less pain. But then I switched from my new shoes to old shoes. And forgot to put the ouch pouches back in. I now have four new blisters, one of them already ripped, thanks to my stupidity. But that meant that I got to wear soft shoes for the rest of rehearsal. YAY.

But now my new pointe shoes are totally wearable. I took them off when switching shoes, and threw them at my ballerino and was like “BREAK THESE IN FOR ME.” And he did. What a dear. Then he was MIA for the rest of rehearsal, but I don’t blame him… it’s not like he has to practice lady corps or anything. At least I got to see him today. Yay.

One of our rehearsal mistresses is just absolutely irritating. She stands there and shakes her head and insults us and doesn’t even give us useful corrections. Idiot. She just stands there and silently judges us. Rude. I am seriously hating her lately.

My black swan scratches are ugly as hell still. Ugh.

Okay this is a bit eerie. I scratched the bajeezus out of myself a couple nights ago, and I swear it’s due to stress.. but everyone says it’s because I’m turning into Black Swan. Either way, these scratches are really ugly and I haven’t found a leotard that is able to cover them yet. BOO.
